Bio
I am a roboticist, analyst, mechanisms engineer, and a world-leading heliogyro expert. I love to work on cool things. I received the last of my 4 degrees, a doctorate in Robotics, from Carnegie Mellon University. Intermingled with the degrees, I have had the privilege to create deployment mechanisms on spacecraft, like the science arm on the Mars Sojourner rover. I have also worked on an autonomous motorbike, an asteroid lander, lunar rover, and solar sails. Through all this, I have become familiar with the proposal writing process. In fact, I wrote a winning proposal to fund a big chunk of my doctoral work.
My future plans include creating a lot of robots and flying the heliogyro in space.
Home has included Utah, Massachusetts, California, Pennsylvania, and now, Colorado. I live with my wife, a very beautiful, talented violinist and friend.
Check out my resume for all the details.
